Message of The Convener Şafak Alpay
Greetings Fellow Rotarians,
I am delighted to extend a warm welcome to a premier historical and coastal tourist destination Antalya, South Coast of Turkey. Our Rotary Institute 2015 will not only be a time to share friendship and fun but also one that will inspire and motivate participants to press on to higher goals in the delivery of service to our communities as they take leadership positions.
This year our Institute will be the third institute in Turkey after Istanbul and İzmir. Past, present, and future district governors, RI presidents, directors, trustees, and regional leaders club presidents Rotarians and spouses of ZONE 20B will came together to build connections, exchange ideas about Rotary in our geography, Rotary International and the Rotary Foundation.
I invite you to join Deniz and me in welcoming our President K.R. Ravindran and beloved Vanathy to our Institute.
We will be also very glad to host TRF Trustee Chair Representative. All Participants will have opportunity to meet Rotary Leaders and also will have the chance to share their thoughts with leaders and participants during the panels, breakout session and all social activities of the Institute.
Together with the Co- Conveners and organization Committees we decided to the theme of the institute in ZONE 20 as “GIFT THE WORLD-GROW ROTARY”
Theme related speakers will enrich the program of the Institute.
During the Institute week GETS, DGE Spouse Training, Districts Governor Nominee Training, District Trainers Training, Rotary Coordinators – Rotary Leaders meeting, COL Council Representative and alternates Training, CADRE Training and TRF Seminar will take place.
The organization Committee has already secured an excellent venue for the Institute and they have put together a program of events that is sure to capture your interest and participation.
We are looking forward to seeing many of you in the Institute and believe that together we will forge a formidable force in our quest to live up to the ‘service above self’ mantra and to “Be a gift to the world”
